About Integrated Sciences Group
We have pioneered many of the major advances in measurement
uncertainty analysis, measurement decision risk analysis, statistical
measurement process control and calibration interval analysis. Consequently,
our knowledge in these areas is second to none.
Since our inception in 1987, we have incorporated this
knowledge in user-friendly software applications designed to help you, the
technical professional, make informed measurement analysis decisions and deal with the stringent
requirements of the international marketplace.
Dr. Howard Castrup has a B.S. degree in Engineering, a PhD in Solid State Electronics and has been developing advanced measurement science techniques and methods for over thirty years. He is one of the founders of uncertainty growth modeling and the originator of statistical measurement process control (SMPC). He is also a major contributor to NASA Reference Publication 1342 and the principal author of the NCSLI Recommended Practice on Calibration Intervals. Prior to founding Integrated Sciences Group, Dr. Castrup worked as a Microwave Electronics Instructor, an RF and Microwave Metrology Engineer, Sr. Statistician, Sr. Systems Analyst, and Project Manager. Dr. Castrup is a member of IEEE, Sigma Pi Sigma, AIP, AAPT, and is the chairman of the NCSLI Metrology Practices Committee. He has published numerous technical papers and articles on uncertainty analysis, measurement decision risk analysis, statistical process control, and calibration interval analysis. Vice President of Engineering Suzanne Castrup has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and has over twenty four years of experience in the field of measurement science, specializing in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer. Prior to joining Integrated Sciences, Ms. Castrup was Technical Advisor for Thermal EOR in Chevron's Western Basins Group. Ms. Castrup also spent eleven years as a Research Engineer at Chevron's Oil Field Research Center conducting laboratory and field experiments. Through her various benchmark analytical and experimental studies, she has gained considerable experience testing and calibrating a variety of measurement equipment and conducting uncertainty analyses.
Ms. Castrup is a member of ASME, ISA and SPE, is currently chair of the NCSLI Uncertainty Analysis Committee (RP-12) and has served as chair of the NCSLI Petroleum Industry Metrology Committee. She has published numerous technical papers and holds several U.S. Patents. Click Here for a list of professional accomplishments.
